And that is 11 years! So the dream lives on. 11 years of organising Africa Night and still the party goes on without showing any sign of losing steam. We had thought this anniversary was going to attract fewer guests because it fell right in the middle of the month. To cut a long story short; we had a full house. And it was one of those days when everything just went right. The music was great, the guests were lively and the atmosphere was cosy and bothering on romantic. 11 years ago, two people (one pregnant!) were going house to house with flyers inviting other people to the Africa Night. 132 editions later, people are still going to Africa Night to partake in the sweet fruits of labour of those two people. We have always been humbled by the support and loyalty of our guests over the years. We hope that in the coming years, Africa Night will, with your continued support, ascend to the next level.
Yes we have not ran out of ideas. The next innovations are just around the corner. All we can ask at this point is just to say “watch this space” for news about the good things ahead.
