There is something about word of mouth. It can be poisonous. It can be priceless. Even though through the years Africa Night has had her share of people who are constantly trying to put see how to rock the boat, the fact is that Africa Night is blessed with true fun lovers. The overwhelming majority come, have fun and spread the word to other people. That is where Africa Night gets most of her “likes” from. The Facebook likes are good for the ego but it is the “likes” from people who come to Africa Night that counts at the end of the day. Over the years, even before Facebook, 99% of our guests demonstrate their “likes” on the dance floor! We “like” you too!
Talking of which we are always flattered when people chose Africa Night as a place to celebrate their milestones. It happens every month. Someone walks to us and says he/she is there because they have something to celebrate. They could have gone to a million other places but they chose to come to Africa Night. That is the strength of the “likes” that are spread by word of mouth! During this edition, we were happy to welcome the biracial couple who were celebrating their 4th wedding anniversary. As with many, they were there for the first time because of all the positive things they’ve heard about Africa Night. We can never stop blushing. We can never take all of these things for granted. That is why we always try our best to provide you a place to shine; the dance floor. The major ingredient that makes ours a unique show is our guests. That is why we are always proud of them. You!
We had a full house during this edition. But a full house in many ways. All 6 of our favourite ladies were there yesterday in complete formation. These are 6 young ladies who discovered Africa Night about 2 years ago and have grown to be loved by us. We remember the day when they first came in tentatively some with some Reggae scarfs looking like they were not really sure they should be there! Since then they are always there, sometimes in 4s or 5s and sometimes in 2s. And many times in full. Only when they are on holidays or couldn’t take the Africa Night day off from work have they skipped Africa Night. They always bring a smile to our faces whenever they show up and yesterday they all did!
The same goes for our other favourite set of 3 young ladies. They’ve missed the last 2 editions because they were in Ghana. During this edition of Africa Night 3 became 4! One of them brought her sister too. Africa Night is very blessed. Long live word of mouth! It is our best “like!”
