We are no rocket scientists

There was the January edition of Africa Night again. When you have been doing this show for as long as we have, you kind of become an amateur stargazer. We have the ability to almost accurately predict a week before the show, how an Africa Night will be, how many people will be there and that sort of thing. Sometimes it is quite scary. Sometimes it is funny. Okay we have to also admit part of our predictions in terms of numbers is aided by the fact that we have been keeping numbers since the day we started Africa Night in 1998. We are no rocket scientists. We just go into our excel sheet and look at the graphics. Therefore we know which are the high, the low and the average months. It helps with planning and preparations.
Africa Night
The 2 lowest months in Tilburg every year are January and November. You don’t have to be genius to know the festive and expensive month of December has a connection with this phenomenon. So when people called us during the week to ask if it was going to be a busy night, we told them we doubted that. What we never doubted (and this is really always the case in January, you can read our previous January blogs to confirm) is the fact that January is always the dancers’ edition. People came early (!!!!!!!!) and generally stayed on the dance floor which made it look like it was more a busy night than it was! We even did the Polonaise after a long time again!
Africa Night
Of course January 2014 marked the introduction of DJ Sam to the Africa Night Tilburg line-up. From the feedback it appears he is already being warmly embraced by the Africa Night crowd. Africa Night Productions is happy with our latest addition and promise you the best is yet to come from both our DJs.
Africa Night

The preparations for the February 2014 edition of Africa Night Tilburg has already started. We hope to see you on 15 February 2014 for the valentine edition of Africa Night. There is a dress code (again). Come with a touch of red! And we ask everyone, male and female to bring a rose. We want to create a mountain of roses in the shape of a heart on that day. We are counting on you! as a love sign on that day!
