The Africa Night Soul Train

The latest Africa Night has come and gone. What is left are the sweet memories of a night that threatened to be a long one but ended up being a most enjoyable April night. Things sometimes go so smooth at the Africa Night, it is scary. We know we’ve written about Africa Nights in the past that have exceeded our expectations. This was one of those nights again.
Africa Night
If you consider the fact that the venue was maybe 10% full just before midnight, you’ll appreciate one’s elation and amusement when one blinked and the venue was full to the brim half an hour later. It is always nice to see new faces at Africa Night. But the Tilburg branch is now making a habit of attracting many new clients during each edition lately. This time around, we could have sworn that the new clients outnumbered the old almost 2 to 1. It gives the Tilburg edition a kind of freshness that one misses by other shows like the one we call Africa Night.

It was particularly nice to see Vivian our part-time Dutch blogger return to Africa Night after a hiatus of about 4 months. (By the way Amavee, our regular Dutch blogger, missed her first Africa Night Tilburg since she first came almost 2.5 years ago!). It was also nice to see our Antillian friends come back after enduring the bereavement of their mother in March.

The highlights of the night? They are too much to mention. You just had to be there understand what we mean. One word that comes to mind when we think of this edition of Africa Night Tilburg is; fun! We had lots of fun and hope to have more in the coming months. Africa Night Tilburg is like a monthly meeting of souls on the same wavelength. Once you enter the Africa Night train, you can just relax, be yourself and dance the night away.
