After all is said and done, we belong to each other! These were the thoughts that swept through me throughout this edition of Africa Night. It was an Africa Night with a difference. We always knew this was going to be a different edition in many ways. Least of all was the fact that we were going to have a guest deejay for the night. Our in-house deejay had his first night off in 4 years so the honour to fill this big void was bestowed upon DJ Aziz whom we know from another Africa themed show in Utrecht. Dj Aziz did not disappoint! Of course at the beginning of the night he was searching for the ways to win over the public. But by the end of the evening, everybody was asking for more! Big kudos to DJ Aziz!
Everything just clicked on this night. The public came in droves. It was like we were going to give away money this time around. The atmosphere was electrifying and even though this was the 126th edition of Africa Night, it is like people can not seem to get enough.
We conceived the idea of Africa Night years ago and the public seems to like the formula. And even though some might sometimes be irritated or disagree sometimes with the way we do our thing at the Africa Night, these people keep coming back for more.
We might quarrel, we might bicker. The music always brings us back together. On this edition of Africa Night, the music and the atmosphere made us feel like we all belong together.
