The African family is a big one. It includes you and me. That is, if we are to believe science. At Africa Night we are no scientists. We just love music that originate from the mother continent and know that Africa has 55 countries. In the 14 years since we started we’ve had people from all of these countries except 3 Djibouti, Comoros and Madagascar. Well starting from last Saturday, we can remove Djibouti from the list. This is because a lady from that country came and danced all night with her lady friend from Surinam. (We bet most of you haven’t even heard of her before. Djibouti is a beautiful country. Google it).
We are glad word of mouth is still the best advertisement we can get at Africa Night. So long as you keep spreading the news, we will always be there to make you dance in a safe, colourful and warm environment. We couldn’t have had Djibouti without her friend who came a couple of months earlier and liked what she saw.
The dancers and the early birds and the birthday people came together last Saturday. People actually came early, took control of the dance floor and partied all night long. Wow! And there were at least 3 people who celebrated their birthdays during this edition of Africa Night Tilburg. We are ever so glad when people share those private moments with us. We will have to wait for 5 weeks before the next show in Tilburg on 20th October 2012 but you don’t have to wait that long. On Saturday 6th October 2012 Africa Night Nijmegen will be celebrating its 12th (that’s a dozen!) edition. Join us at Amanne in 3 weeks for the party.
