Up and down we go with Africa Night Nijmegen. The one month we are up, the next month we are down! Unfortunately for us, October falls into the “down” category. Fortunately for us however, is the fact that the people who came knew how to party. It was like they brought several pairs of dancing shoes. Once they hit the dance floor, they just kept on and on. Yeah, legs are made for dancing! The DJ did his bit to keep them glued to the dance floor.
We hope that this roller-coaster will stay up in the coming months. It will be a shame if dancers like those of last Saturday would be left standing and not serviced because we ran out of funds financing Africa Night Nijmegen. From our experience especially in Almere, a lot of people are still waiting for the train to leave before running in a hopeless attempt to catch it. We would just like to say, step on the train now before it is too late.
Whatever happens, the next show in November will be celebrating the 1st year anniversary in Nijmegen. This makes Nijmegen our 2nd longest running show ever after Africa Night Tilburg. That calls for a celebration don’t you think? The best way to celebrate would be to have a full house of people with dancing shoes. So you are all invited to the 1st anniversary celebrations of Africa Night Nijmegen on Saturday 3 November 2012. You know we know how to throw a party!
