We want to end the year like we started it, with a word of thanks. There was a time this year, in March 2013 to be precise, when dark clouds hung above Africa Night when the Satudarah guys moved into the old location (Partycentrum Oase). We knew we wanted to put neither our guests or our show in harm’s way, so we had to act quickly. We had little time to find an alternative location. However, with the help of some dedicated guests behind the scene, we were able to make the transition to the new location at Horeca T Kwadraat. Although it took some people a bit to get used to the new location, we are happy at the way things are turning out.
We ended our foray into Nijmegen during this year while Utrecht turned out to be a false dawn. We made a very successful appearance in Germany. (For those still asking us to come back, it was always meant to be a one time show in Krefeld). Right now, Africa Night is blossoming as it has always been in Tilburg. Rotterdam got off to an encouraging start.
What we have learnt in 2013 is that we need to keep developing and innovating. As such, we have decided to save all our energy for Tilburg and Rotterdam. The possibility of organising a new Africa Night in another city in 2014 is therefore very remote. We are going to bring some new aspects to the show in Tilburg. The location offers us great possibilities. We are sure you will like the new stuff we will introduce slowly but surely.
We only need to look at the pictures of this past year to get a broad smile on our faces because of the smile on your faces. Africa Night continues to reinvent itself. New guests are coming from far and near. What we can promise you in 2014 is that we will continue to offer you a stress-free place to relax and dance. We don’t always get everything right. Feel free to approach us if you have any suggestions. We grow because we listen. As long as you are willing to dance we shall always provide you the dance hall.
