Loyalty has a price just as quality does. Events preceding this March edition of Africa Night Tilburg were less than we wished for. At Africa Night we go out of our way to avoid any negative vibes. That is why we have, as years went by, weeded out those people whose intent was to bring some amount of negativity. Africa Night is about having fun. The result is that people feel safe to come to Africa Night. There are not many events of its kind where young, single ladies feel comfortable enough to come alone. At Africa Night they do and they never have to worry. We have worked hard over the years to build a unique brand and earn the respect of our public. That is why they always stay with us in good times and in trying times.
On Friday and Saturday the location, where Africa Night Tilburg is held, was suddenly in the news for all the wrong reasons. We have no influence in the way owners of the halls we rent run their businesses. In looking for these halls we try and consider the reputations and history of the places we hire. We do not want Africa Night to be associated with certain things. Once we are at these locations, we do our best to make the most of the one night a month we are there. Because of the events prior to Africa Night Tilburg last Saturday, we would have been very understanding if most, if not all, of our guests stayed away. To our surprise and happiness, the turnout was huge for a March edition of ANT.
Of course there were people who were not aware of what happened so were just there to enjoy as always. However, most of our guests were very much aware of the incident and they chose to come. Many came to speak with us to show their support knowing we always go the extra kilometre to guarantee the safety and well being of our guests. What price can you put on that kind of kindness and loyalty? Even as the Africa Night brand expands to different cities and countries in the past and in the coming months, we never lose sight of the blanket of love and warmth our guests wrap around us.
We will keep monitoring the situation in the coming days and weeks. Be assured; we are doing a lot of work in the background to ensure that the good name of our guests and our product is not infected by things beyond our control. Above all, we are working to ensure that whatever happens, Africa Night Tilburg, which you all love, will continue to be held without any problems. It is already the longest running of its kind in the Benelux. We are working to ensure that one day; it will have its place in the Guinness book of records as the longest running Africa themed party in the world! Because you are with us, we dare to dream! Next on our dream agenda; The return of Africa Night Rotterdam! (coming back in November 2013)
Talking of dreams, the next Africa Night will be in Nijmegen on Saturday 6-04-2013. We invite you to come in large numbers to give Africa Night Nijmegen some energy boost.
