Well, what a party! The 9th anniversary edition of Africa Night turned out to be a great one. Although we had to say ‘bye bye’ to Maureen (see previous post), it was a night that reminded us of why Africa Night is still going strong even after 9 years. A lot of people joined us earlier than usual the hall was already full before 12 ’O’ clock midnight. The dj was in his element and kept the party-goers on the dance floor for the whole night.
And it was hot! The temperature outside was around 20 degrees and inside it was close to 40 degrees! The people did not seem to mind though. They just went on and on! A couple of early birds were rewarded with a 9 month exemption from paying the gate fee while every guest on the night got a 9% rebate on the gate fee.
Africa Night is 9 years old and wiser. We are looking forward to the next 9 years.
